Burnley College Students Team Up With Boohoo to Raise Funds for Pendleside Hospice
In this episode, we explore how Burnley College students collaborated with Boohoo to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice. During the Freshers’ Fair, the students set up a pop-up fashion stall, selling clothing from Boohoo and Pretty Little Thing. The event was part of their Business and Professional Studies course, providing hands-on experience in planning, marketing, and executing a real-world business project. Their efforts resulted in an additional £370 raised, bringing their total donations to £1,689 for the hospice. We speak with Louisa Mayor, Head of Income Generation at Pendleside Hospice, who praised the students for their enthusiasm and creativity. Boohoo has also committed to donating more clothing to help stock the hospice's retail shops.
