Burnley College Leads the Way in Inclusive Education

As one of only 20 institutions nationwide, Burnley College is at the forefront of delivering OCR's new inclusive texts at A Level English Literature. The college will introduce new texts alongside existing ones and provide feedback to OCR to ensure the texts resonate with students. This initiative allows students to explore a broader range of voices and experiences in literature, reflecting modern lives and backgrounds. In recognition of their ambassadorship, Burnley College will receive a mini library of 300 copies each of high-quality books by authors of colour, donated by Lit in Colour, a joint campaign by Penguin Random House UK and The Runnymede Trust.
